After completing high school and a year of college, Ted Bauman decided to leave college in the United States and head to South Africa. He enrolled at the University of Cape Town and spent seven years earning a number of degrees. He came back to the United States in 2006 at the birth of his daughter to be near family and give his kids a chance to know their grandparents. Ted’s father used to write for Banyan Hill when he was a little. In 2013 his dad made the decision to retire from his position at Banyan Hill and asking Ted to take the position.
